About the owner

Niki Litts is a multidisciplinary artist based in Rhode Island, who specializes in creating art for the hospitality industry at her studio, Glyph Haus, located at Evolution Mill in West Warwick, Rhode Island.

Niki earned her BFA in painting and drawing from East Carolina University and her master's degree from The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. Her graduate work centered on semi-abstract paint installations inspired by dreams, memories, and intimacy, utilizing color, text, non-traditional materials, and silhouettes to engage viewers and evoke a connection to her inner child.

Following graduate school, Niki ventured into community arts management, where she gained expertise in public art, grant writing, and program development. This experience expanded her interests and skill set, leading her to explore graphic design, project management, web development, and digital art.

Niki's career took a definitive turn when she became a senior creative associate at an art consultancy focused on the hospitality industry. This role laid the foundation for what would become Glyph Haus. In 2018, she relocated to Rhode Island, set up her studio in a repurposed textile mill, and broadened her artistic repertoire to include textiles, ceramics, and various non-traditional materials.

Driven by a passion for learning and creating, Niki continually seeks new materials and methods to enhance the work for clients and her personal art practice.
